The Cairngorm 4000er's are well known within the ski mountaineering community. The majority of the route is in big mountain terrain, exposed to the elements, remote and certainly not somewhere to be practicing new skills. This is a serious tour in it's own right so we have taken this opportunity to introduce the very first team race for Skimo Scotland. This course should be attempted only in good weather by strong and competent ski mountaineers who are comfortable travelling in featureless terrain.
We are only recommending that this course is tackled by teams of 2 racers. Teams can either be male, female or mixed.
